The staff of Garvagh Primary School and the staff of St Columba's Primary School, Ballerin
firmly believe that children should be brought up in a community that respects diversity in race and religion so the children
and teachers in bothe schools have been estalishing links with each other for a number of years now.
Over the past six years the children of Garvagh Primary School and the children of St Columba's
Primary School in Ballerin come together for cross curricular projects. All the children from both schools thoroughly
enjoy the experiences and between them have produced a number of pieces of work through workshops.
These include murals, puppets and dreamcatchers.
